Visakhapatnam: Dry spell is likely to prevail in the state for another week even after the south-west monsoon has settled across the state.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over coastal AP and Telangana over the next 24 hours, while isolated rain will occur over Rayalaseema.
The state received an average rainfall of 5 cm between June 1 and 20 as against the normal average rainfall of 6 cm for the corresponding period.
Except Telangana which received slightly excess rainfall, both Rayalaseema and coastal AP registered deficit rainfall. |
