Raipur: Maoists set six trucks on fire in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada districtThursday night, the second day of the week-long 'martyrs week' called by the rebels, police said.

The Maoists blocked about 40 trucks, which were being used to transport iron ores to Vishakapatnam in Kerala, at Perpa village at Kirundal area yesterday night.

They set six of the vehicles on fire and threatened the drivers to not to ply trucks in the area, police said.
